If you are driving, there is plenty of car parking available.
Located in the village of Hightown in Sefton, Merseyside, The Pheasant Inn is half way between Liverpool and Southport.
The village is served by Hightown train station, with services running to Southport and Hunts Cross via Liverpool city centre. A local bus service also runs to Hall Road in nearby Crosby.
The Pheasant Inn is surrounded by things to do, see, and explore, so, if you’re planning on paying us a visit, why not make a day of it.
Join us and enjoy our magnificent interiors and a fabulous outdoor dining space that’s perfect for alfresco dining.
There are plenty of beaches and countryside in the area, perfect for walkers and families alike. Formby Point, Formby Beach, Vales Park, and Ainsdale Beach, are all local favourites. Make sure you pay a visit to the iconic Another Space sculpture by Antony Gormley. And, once you’ve worked up a healthy appetite, The Pheasant Inn offers the perfect spot to refresh and refuel.
The many shops and sights of Liverpool are also within easy reach. The city is home to the largest collection of museums and galleries in the UK outside of London. Once you’ve navigated your way around the World Museum, Museum of Liverpool, Merseyside Maritime Museum, or Tate Liverpool, pop into The Pheasant Inn for a drink and a light bite.
And, of course, no visit to Liverpool would be complete without a trip to the Beatles Story in Albert Dock, a Magical Mystery Tour around the city’s various Beatles Landmarks, or a quick pint in the world famous Cavern Club.
